Honest stories, nourishing foods, and healing escapes — all grounded in cultural care.

Some forms of wellness aren’t aesthetic.
They look like soup, silence, or showing up.

Review: Boy & The Bear (Redondo Beach)

Updated: Aug 13, 2024

If coffee and tea went on a date, it would look like this...

Coffee would pull a Gibraltar. Pretty design, hot and sexy cup. Rose to impress.

To impress coffee, Tea would easily opt to be Earl Grey. Delicate with a dash of sweet agave. Present herself with such ingenuity... how would coffee ever forget her?

These pictures are from the Boy & The Bear, a local cafe and coffee roastery. They have three locations - The Black Store, the Grey Store and the White Store. The one we visited was the Black Store which is in Redondo Beach, CA. Their coffee is grown and harvested in Columbia.

While parking can be tricky, once you are all situated, you will really enjoy the laid-back ambiance and their offerings.

Note: This is not a sponsored post. This local cafe is really quite wonderful and cozy, check it out!
