Las Vegas, baby.

We live in Los Angeles so we love going to Vegas, and we always take our daughter along.

Are there things to do with kids in Las Vegas? Yes, most certainly.

Here are some great suggestions, perfect for a day (or two) in Vegas.

Check out the holiday / seasonal display at Bellagio Conservatory and be prepared to be enamored by its gorgeous fountains outside

Get a cupcake from the Sprinkles ATM. Here is a video of our experience, it was all very exciting!

Take a ride up the High Roller Observation Wheel and see all of Vegas! Sip a vino as you take in the view.

Watch a show. We surprised Anya with a Cirque Du Soleil show at the Bellagio. Her expression was priceless!

Go Zip lining on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas at the Slot Zilla. They have a 50 lb. weight limit so many of the older kiddos might be OK.

Eat at the Rainforest Cafe. For the fussy amongst us, I promise you butter pasta.

Visiting for a longer time? Here are some other ideas that may interest you.

There are three other attractions that I may not be a big fan of but I know kids like. I admit that we did visit these spots one time when my daughter was very little.

(1) Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage

(2) The Flamingo Habitat at the Flamingo Hotel (birds are out in the open)

(3) Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay

I just feel sorry for the animals and fish, is all. As an animal lover, I would recommend doing the other things on the list before considering these three.

One more tip. There are hotels that have a kids club - Choose them! This way, you can visit a fancy bar or restaurant with your partner and your kids have a good time too with other kids at a pizza-movie night in the hotel.

This is US, at a Boyz II Men concert one night and at the Chandelier Bar at the Cosmopolitan and at the Mandarin Bar at the Mandarin Oriental on the second night! And of course, window shopping and admiring all those top brands with a little bottle of bubbly that we picked up from a vending machine!
