Fresh Homemade Almond Milk

So easy to make, assuming you have a nut or soup maker machine.

What you need:

  • 1 cup raw almonds, soaked in water overnight

  • 4 cups water

  • 3 pitted dates

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Ingredients:

  1. Nut milk maker - Mine is Gourmia - I make soups and milks in it

  2. Cheese Cloth

  3. One long container

  4. One strainer

  5. Measuring cups

  6. A bottle to store milk in the fridge (not pictured here)

How to make:

  • Soak almonds overnight in water

  • In your nut milk maker, put all of the ingredients and start the nut maker function

  • Once the machine indicates cycle completion, leave it alone for an hour or so for the liquid to cool down.

  • Then strain the milk once with a regular strainer, and then the second time through a cheesecloth

  • The milk is ready. Just put it in an easy-to-pour container in the fridge until it is cool and ready to use

  • Use within a few days
