Healthy Hair, Skin & Nail: Biotin from Rae Wellness

Updated: May 20, 2022

I am proud to partner with Rae Wellness and their Beauty Drops product. This supplement has Vitamin H, also called Biotin, which is a B vitamin that helps support healthy skin, hair and nails.

First, let me tell you about Rae Wellness. This is a women-led company. They donate 5% of all revenue to Girls. Inc., the non-profit organization that inspires girls to be strong, smart and bold through direct service and advocacy.

Now, about the product. Our body needs biotin to convert certain nutrients into energy. For the most part, you are already getting a good amount of biotin in your body if you are eating organ meats, egg yolk, bananas, mushrooms, whole grains, cauliflower, legumes and nuts. I am vegetarian and a fussy one, so this product is good for me.

I like that this product has just a few ingredients, and all that I can pronounce! Biotin, vegetable glycerin, water and citric acid. It is tasteless so you can literally put in your juice or coffee and your drink would taste no different. And, you can find it in your local Target or on the Rae Wellness site.

Something more I learned as I explored this vitamin. It can reduce inflammation, improve cognitive function and increase the good HDL cholesterol.

For the ones who are just starting out on the supplement journey, first know if your body needs this supplement. If you decide to take this supplement, always start with a tiny tiny dosage to see if it affects you in any negative way - For e.g. are you breaking out in pimples, do you have nausea or cramps? Slowly increase your dosage if there are no side effects.

I started with Rae with one drop instead of the entire dropper and slowly increased the dosage, and so I recommend you do the same.
